Hello! I'm Dominic, a Game and Level Designer who is an avid lover of arts in any form or medium.
As a child, I unknowingly dabbled in game design through pen and paper. I would cook up some weird gameplay and drew levels on notebooks before inviting my classmates to play. Fast forward to the present, I'm in the game industry to pursue my passion and hone my skills as a video game craftsman.
In every creative endeavor I undertake, I aim to craft memorable experiences and push the boundaries of what makes video games awesome!
Aside from my love for games, I'm also a history geek and an adventurous foodie.
PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS​
ATLAS FALLEN
Main role: Quest Designer
"Atlas Fallen" is an open-world action RPG, that can be played both solo or co-op. You take on the role of an "Unnamed" who unearthed a magical gauntlet that grants access to shape-shifting weapons and devastating sand-powered abilities. As the Gauntlet Bearer, set out on an epic journey to challenge the oppressive Sun God and liberate the world of Atlas.
APPLAYDU & FRIENDS
Main role: Game Designer, Level Designer
"Applaydu & Friends" is an online multiplayer game developed from a partnership between Gameloft and Fererro. In this game, you can scan your toys from Kinder Joy and bring them to life as playable Avatars to compete in various battle royale obstacle courses.
TERMINUS LOCKDOWN
Main role: Writer, Game Designer, Level Designer
A sci-fi survival horror, "Terminus Lockdown". Survive as a lone technician in a derelict spaceship, inhabited by parasitic plant-controlled droids. Your only weapon: A light emitter that can alter the growth of the plants. The game won the SEA Game Awards for "Best Student Game" in 2018.
ABOUT ME​
As a child, I unknowingly dabbled in game design through pen and paper. I remember cooking up mechanics, narrating, and drawing the levels in my notebooks. Then, I would invite my classmates to partake in my machinations. Fast forward to the present, I'm in the game industry to pursue my passion and hone my craft in making games. I have been working in the game industry for 6 years and counting.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on various games for several platforms, collaborating with teams of all sizes. As a result, I've experienced many development cycles, and have a unique library of inspirations installed at the back of my mind. In every creative endeavour, I aim to tell memorable stories and push the boundaries of what makes video games awesome!
Aside from games, I'm also an avid lover of movies and books. But outside of entertainment media, I'm somewhat of a history geek and possess a hardcore love for food.
