MY contributions

Game Design

As the only game designer, I work closely with the director to be aligned with his direction and design gameplay for various scenarios according to the script.

I also function as the bridge between the directors/ writers and the developers as there were many challenges in communication. As someone who understands both worlds, I helped convey the director's vision to the development team and do the same for the development team in terms of technical constraints or requirements.

Scene Design

Based on the script from the director and writers, I designed and wireframed the layout of scenes from the scenarios.

The scenes would also include items that players can interact with, which can give some sort of information about the world or character. Then, I would create animatics as references for the sequence of events.

OTHERS

I was tasked to implement the dialogues, including the choices into the build. I worked with the development team and learned their XML script structures to be able to use them and input the dialogues as well as scene events.

Part of my responsibilities was also to prepare and organize the scripts for voice-over sessions. Furthermore, I assisted the director with the voice acting sessions.
