Gods and Goddesses: Tutorial Level
GODS & GODDESSES
The Undead forces of Hades have decimated most of Olympus and are now on the final march to destroy the Core that powers Olympus. The Gods and Goddesses of Olympus will have to take a final stand to protect the Core at all costs. A 2D Tower Defense game, where you have to summon Gods and strategically relocate them to battle.

Game Design

As the only designer in the team, I worked on all the design aspects of the game and solve gameplay-related issues. I designed the mechanics and systems of the game as well as their iterations. I was also tasked with the UI/ UX of the game. My tasks also include both balancing and economy design.

I was also involved in cooperating with the artists to produce visual guides for them and finding solutions to overcome technical challenges as we are inexperienced in making games at that time.

Level Design
I designed all the level designs of the game including the design of the enemy waves as well as the overall pacing. The game differs from a common Tower Defense as now they also need to manage the movements of the Gods.
​
This would make layouts different from usual Tower Defense games, and a lot of iterations had been made to discover effective layouts for the gameplay. The level assets were purposely made to be tile-able and I utilized them to build the layout.

Team Lead
​
I was in charge of management and schedule in the team. I distributed and tracked tasks within the team based on the schedule and feature priorities. I also worked with the team to keep them on track with the game's vision and direction.
​
This project is the first time that I had to take up a lead and management role.
